How it works
The QR code on the object never changes. You can update the destination link at any time, for example to:
- Social media profiles
- Your website
- A campaign or commercial offer
You can change the redirect link yourself in the control panel or request us to update it for €5 per change.
Optional hosted identity page (included for first setup): as a convenience layer, TAOVOSF can provide a simple hosted page on taovosf.com with your photo, logo, contact details, links, offer and a downloadable vCard.
First setup is included free of charge. The QR destination can be changed anytime to your own website, LinkedIn, booking page or campaign link.
Basic redirect management features are provided without subscription fees.
“Lifetime” means for the lifetime of the TAOVOSF service (the service may evolve). New premium features may be offered separately.
We plan a long transition period for redirects if TAOVOSF ever stops operating (target: 10 years).
In addition, you can use the same QR across your marketing materials, printed business cards, event badges, and more — while keeping the destination link updateable.
If needed, TAOVOSF can also provide additional managed QR redirects (independent from the physical card) for staff, campaign-specific use, or separate printed assets. Additional setups are available on request, and in selected cases a limited starter set may be included during onboarding.
You can sell or transfer your identity card and redirect control to another owner.
Below are the available options for producing a custom QR identity card using your own domain name, providing full control over the destination URL:

For all options, the domain name and hosting (if required) are purchased and paid for independently by the customer, through any registrar and hosting provider of their choice (estimated cost: ~€70 per year).

Workshop & Craftsmanship
TAOVOSF pieces are handcrafted in a small Vienna workshop using traditional tools and techniques. Each identity object is manually assembled, blackened, polished, and signed. No mass production, no CNC automation — only physical metal and human hands.

You receive 1 QR code and access to redirect control, so you can start using it immediately in marketing materials, badges, signs, store displays, or other printed assets.

For safety, Starter access lets you switch between up to 7 pre-approved destinations. Adding or replacing a destination is available by request (€5 per change).
Full edit access (changing destinations freely) is available for trusted clients and TAOVOSF hardware owners — just ask by email.
Basic setup is included (hosted identity page + vCard available on request). Further changes can be requested for €5 per change.
Instructions and payment details are sent by e-mail after your request is confirmed. The starter fee can be credited toward a physical TAOVOSF card or QR bracelet order.
